At Alj How Long On Average Before A Decision Reached?

Question

Filed a claim for SSD it has been denied 2 times and is at the ALJ. Initial claim was filed 6 months ago, after 2nd time PTSD was added and sent to ALJ, talked to ALJ office and one of the ladys ther hand carried it through because of request for dire need. It was given to the ALJ 2 weeks ago. How long is it usually take before decision is reached? Have been in contact with all Congressional offices atate and federal and they sopposedly puting a Congressional Inquirey flag on my claim.

Usually they notify you within 2 weeks befiore the hearing to ensure they have all of the evidence. The ALJ can also issue a decision without you attending a hearing.

The ALJ can issue a bench decision at the hearing if it undoubtedly is in your favor.Pay attention to undoubtedly.
