Merry Christmas

Question

I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. Obviously this is not the place for me. When one cannot make an innocent comment in general terms without being ridiculed, having their service questioned, or being personally insulted about the medication one is taking, then it's just too negative a place for me. Persoanl attacks in my opinion is what is over the line Pete. If any of you have a minute please read all the posts I've made on Hadit...am I a trouble maker, you be the judge. If anyone mistook my post on Betty's topic as an attack on her or her claim (which it was not) then I am sincerely sorry. Again I wish you all a Blessed New Year.

gee- I didnt take any of your comments as an attack-Attack boat vet-

As a matter of fact I held a position for about a year here that was not popular here at all-or with Josphine either-

I saw no proven nexus and neither did one of our other members (Vike)who has not returned here in many months.

I feel a proven nexus could alter her whole claim by maybe get her the diagnosis she needs-

Every vet does have a right to file a claim but I also think we all have to be honest here as to the claim's merits and as to what is lacking in the evidence.

I read and re-read many times the info she posted here and the remand-and still felt the nexus -if proven- would render a psychiatrist to be fully able to do an IMO for anxiety due to service.

I hope she pursues her claim- I dont know how the AMC works-and what the next step is in the letter she received.

Thanks Berta...I feel better

I wish everyone a Wonderful and Merry Christmas.

This is a time for us to be Joyful.

Don't anyone think of leaving the board, over whether or not, I have a valid claim.

If I offended you when I said for you to be sure to take your Lithium, it was only out of concern.

My daughter is Bio-polar and it is just a dreadful and tragic illness.

Come back in and post.

Always and I do offer my appolegy to you if in anyway that I offended you.

Always,

Betty

attack_boat_vet,

I am really so sorry that my comment offended you, as it certainly

was not intended to.

When I see your illness, I see my daughter lying in the hospital

between life and death, as she called me one Sunday morning and told

me she took all of her medicines and just wanted to tell me goodbye.

She would not give the telephone to her husband to call 911, so I

called them from my home, 60 miles away.

They arrived just in time and took her to the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital my daughter was not conscious and the

doctor taking care of her was my doctor, the one the VA states is not

credible to diagnose and treat my anxiety.

I thank God every day for his being at the hospital at the time of

her arrival.

She is stable now, but it has helped her so much, as I moved back and

we live a couple of blocks from each other.

We talk each morning and I say the same thing to her every day.

Be sure and take your Lithium.

I always worry about her during the holidays, but now I am a

telephone call away.

I am very pleased you have your well deserved benefits.

Always,

Betty

I would like to wish everyone a merry christmas. It is a time for giving and a time for remembering the ones we love and the ones who left us. Lets not forget, yet let us remember the good times we had.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
