?'s On Ptsd Exam

Question

I have a ptsd exam scheduled next week. I printed out the C&P Exam for ptsd; it gave me an outline of subjects to be discussed. My question is to anyone that has already had the ptsd exam--can anyone give me specific questions they were asked? I am quite up-tight about this exam and would like to have some idea what members here have experienced. Thanks--farmall.

They are probably going to ask if you are working. They may ask about flashbacks, nightmares, fear of crowds, and recurrent thoughts about combat experiences. They may ask about what kinds of experiences you had in service. Be specific and tell them all the gory details and how those experiences affect you now. Bring you wife or get her to make a statement about how your ptsd affects your marriage and daily living.

One trap to avoid in my opinion is they will ask if you had a bad family and school life before being in the Service. Its best to downplay any big negatives.
