huskerfanfl
For the past few months I have been scuffing the front of my foot as I walk unless I concentrate on my feet. When I do scuff my foot, I lose my balance and come close to tripping. Does this happen to anyone else?

Ricky
Would this be the condition referred to as "drop foot"? carlie Yes if you are unable to point your toes toward your body (total loss of dorsiflexion). VA expects you to have this along with the inability to move your foot at the ankle level inward or outward and display a steppage gait (known as footdrop gait). Most raters look for each symptom but some do not during the rating process. knowing this process they would want to be able to see the bones of the foot and blood spouting from the wounds where you drug the entire layer of skin and meat off the top of your foot from dragging it!!!!!! hahahaha Edited May 10, 2008 by Ricky
