rattattat Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 Dave was just awarded 100% on his lungs, 50% on liver, 60% on spine injury. His original claim was filed in 2000 and was denied 2002. He persisted with the help of hadit members advice and was finally successful getting service connected this May. He then on knowledge gained from hadit got an increase on the percentages and an earlier effective date. It was a long struggle but worth it. It never would have happened with the DAV rep he had. I always felt that a big part of my win was the vindication of knowing that finally the VA acknowledged that my service left me worse off than when I entered.
