My WWII 83 year old grandfather who is SC for TB in WWII went to the VA for a heart procedure. They kept him for several days and finally let him go home.

3 days after he got home the phone rang and he was told to go to the nearest ER. He told them where he was going and they were to call ahead. They did. He was admitted in a coak of secrecy and was treated like he had the plague.

They ran test after test, IV antibiotics adn the works before they finally came in ans said We are sorry, There is nothing wrong with you and it was a mistake.

He was being treated as a MRSA patient and the records were from another patient who was walking around somewhere.

He is 83 and livid.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

The VA did that? You know they told me I had ischemia and that I was in bad shape. Another test showed everything was just fine. They prescribed heart meds for me. Is it malpractice when they just scare you to death?

jbasser,

My Grandfather was also WWII Vet (Navy)SC with TB. Boy how I miss him.

I hope you get this straight with the VA, I know my Granfather was not treated good by any means by the VA after his discharge.

Do yourself a favor.....buy some gold and silver! The printing presses are in overdrive.
