Highlighting What's Important In The Medical Record

Rate this question

PE1

Question

Is it ok to highlight with a yellow highligther important stuff in the service record before the C&P exam? I have alot of labs and x-rays but if I mark what's abnormal then maybe it won't go unnoticed. I would imagine that the examiner will find it easier to find pertinent information that supports my claim.

I made copies of mine and than highlighted and made notations. I think it helped.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

You can even color-code according to medical conditions if you have more than one claim....i.e. yellow for a back claim, blue for a hearing loss, etc. Good thing highlighters come in several colors now.

Anything to make it easier for the C&P and the RO the better...

Good point Purple-

I even use yard sale stickers alot-the colored little stickers -to mark them as Exhibit A, B, C etc on my evidence and I always add an Evidence list sheet describing A, B, C. etc.
