Expediting Fully Developed Claims:

On December 17, 2008, VA began a one-year pilot program at 10 regional offices to assess the feasibility and advisability of processing within 90 days after receipt fully developed compensation and pension claims. A Certification of Fully Developed Claim should accompany each claim submitted under this pilot program. For additional details, please see the news release VA Announces Pilot Program To Expedite "Fully Developed" Claims.

I searched the VA website "news release" as it stated above and could not find the news release, hoping that it would identify the 10 pilot sites. I also "googled" it and no luck...

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this "form" already exist?

Seems to me like I remember filling out a BUNCH of very similar forms, i.e,

"______ Please check to indicate if you wish an additional 60 days to allow yourself time to provide additional information.

______ Please check if you wish us to go ahead and make a determination............."

I dunno, but this sure "sounds" like the same thing........doesn't it?

"It is cold and we have no blankets.

The little children are freezing to death.

My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death.

I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find.

Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad.

From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

Here's a link to more info on this.

Again, I think it will be just another wasted program, more monesy wasted.

I equate it to the goober-ment forming a new committee to study

and research why a prior committee did or didn't meet their goals.

Yes everybody we just need to keep taking off our shoe for airport security, lol.
