No one knows for sure how messed up the VA is until they deal with VA. In future you need to make sure and be able to prove when information is sent. If you live close to VARO take it and have it date stamped if not send certified receipt requested.

Good Luck

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Tank,

Ihope you have a date stamped copy of the evidence you sent in. Otherwise you might have a problem and it seems you already do.

My VARO has lost so much of my evidence over the years that when I have important evidence I hand deliver it and get the date stamped copy. I don't trust anyone to file for me except my lawyer, and I am not sure about him. He is filing at the BVA for me and has done OK so far. I would not trust any VSO to file for me or handle evidence.

Only if the wife is accredited by VA can she be on the BVA brief as your POA.

She doesnt have to be actual vet rep-just accredited by VA - I dont think that involves too much.

If you can prove you sent this paperwork in sooner make sure they know- and then file a charge under the October Incident VA fast Letter as maybe VA destroyed it.
