Simpely because they would cost the drug manufactors. When we were able to work and contribute to the financhial system we were worth something, now that we can't we are a burden and therefore useless. If and until we can get Congress to reign in the power and impunity given the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, this sort of crap will just continue to occur. I read Larry Scott and Jim Strickland always saying follow the rules with the VA. My brain tells me that they are exactly right, but my heart tells me that they are exactly wrong. Veterans follow the rules and lose. The VA does not follow the rules and there are no consequences. Speak out on the premises and you are ejected by the VA Police or worse.
