1.2 Million Veterans Waiting

The VA claims backlog has now grown, not to a million Veterans, but much worse, 1.2 million Veterans are now waiting on the VA to process their benefits. Its the longest line in history..and growing daily. At this rate, there will be even more Veteran homelessness and Veteran suicide: Veterans are expected to be patient while our bill collectors are not.

Even worse, older claims, that is, Veterans already waiting sometimes for years, go directly to the "back burner".

Duckworth probably thinks that if she behaves herself she can be VA Secretary one day. Next she can do like Cleland and run for office successfully. She is trying to skin the cat a different way. Notice that she was an officer, and not a PFC who got their legs blown off. The notion is, of course, that officers are better human beings like enlisted. VA Secretary is an Ex-General Officer. Then of course we had a DAV commander who sold out immediately.
