www.va.gov now looks totally different. If you think you knew where things used to be, look again. I don't yet know if it is an improvement or will make our lives more difficult.

My reply would be more difficult. I went to it I think the day after all the changes and tried to find BVA decisions ended up having to do a search for BVA. Used to be able to click on on the right.

I had to Google Board of Veterans Appeals and save it in my Bookmarks-

In the BVA search thing they say Date thing but there is no thing for the dates.

Man I am poed at this changed ;)

I wonder what else at VA web site is screwed up-

I had to call the OGC and could swear their number was at the OGC part of VA web site- but the number is gone- I found it however on my phone bill from last month.1-202-273-6660

Guess they dont want to us to know all the info that used to be at the VA web site.

GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University !

When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief

Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

The drop down to select the year to filter search is missing from the initial search page, but is there on the next page (at least if you have 0 hits)...should be an easy fix..

I submitted a defect note to IRIS

lol, submit an IRIS defect on the fact that nobody can find anything any more.

I'll be the first to say it. Yes, the new page officially sucks. ;)

It looks like they are trying to decrease end user transparency.

It looks, more to me like, they are trying to decrease end user usage!

If they would ONLY spend the time and MONEY trying to help US.

Like, for example, they were SUPPOSED to have the MyHealthEVet portion of their website all set up by the end of the year. I mean, ALL SET UP, where we could check on our upcoming appointments, MAKE upcoming appointments, access our medical records, etc.

Instead, they have spent what they should have spent on US...........trying, once again, to make THEM "look good", when, in all actuality, it has just been more smoke and mirrors.

But, if you REALLY want to know what I think...........? ;)

"It is cold and we have no blankets.

The little children are freezing to death.

My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death.

I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find.

Maybe I shall find them among the dead.

Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad.

From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever."

Chief Joseph

Is it just me or is the American flag no longer part of the web site? I see the VA seal at the top. Of the five rotating pictures, numbers two through five have pieces of it visible, but it is just rotating content. Wait, after going through all of the links under the Veterans Services topic, I finally found part of it at http://www.myhealth.va.gov and another one on the burial flag page. We served our country. We want to see our flag.
