Question

Greetings ,

I contacted the 800V A line today and a rep siad, "my appeal (adaptive housing grant) and all my claims for increases have been moved to a post group after the DRO had made his decision" I have never heard of a post group in my 9 years in dealing with the VA. Is this something new?

Has anyone else heard of this? Thank you and God bless you all

Thanks Bound -I didnt really leave-

your question is unusual- I sure never heard of this before-"post group" and never saw this phrase in the m21-1

hope others respond-

(sometimes it pays to call the 800# back for a second opinion)

I've never heard of a "post group" either. Most approved claims need a second signature now though, and maybe that is what the rep was refering to. But I was told mine went to a 'review supervisor' for the second signature. Denied claims do not get the extra attention. They only care to make sure they dont't error in the Vet's favor, not the other way round.
