I finally got an Iris from a request for status of appeal Iris from November 5th at 10:36 PM last night stating "A letter on your Appeal was mailed today and you should get it sometime next week." I am hoping that it's a decision letter, this appeal has been going on since 2005. I have had two surgeries on this claim that is service connected. Keeping my fingers cross on this one!

IRIS says a letter on your appeal has been sent, but they did not say a decision. You can't believe a word they say until you have a decision letter in your hand.

Yes, I know, that's why I am keeping my fingers crossed until I get it because serveral times during this process it was a letter requesting more information. They did send me for a C&P exam on this claim back in September of this year.
