carlie
I had my second BVA Hearing over five months ago. At the Hearing I requested verbally and in writing a copy of the Hearing transcripts. I aslo submitted a copy of this request to my RO. I just got off the phone with BVA. They told me they had no record of my request for a copy of the Hearing transcripts but would initiate one now. Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 20, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 20, 2010 That really bites. Did you have the name of the adjudicator who hosted your meeting? It might be worth it to check with them directly. Requirements to work or remain employed at the VA should include a competency screening. It reminds me of my endeavors to get copies of my medical records. It took some serious jumping through hoops, but I finally got almost everything. One person insisted they didn't have what I was requesting, but after I found it, I took the liberty of personally showing the person how wrong they were. Capt.
Carlie, Is that really you in the pic....lol..... It would seem the BVA would have record of your request and why they say they don't makes it sound more like a VARO messup. I guess I may as well start getting ready for the same as I near a deadline in 90 days. God Bless, NEVER GIVE UP. C.C.

Vync, There is no adjudicator that hosts the BVA Hearing, there is only you the BVA Hearing Judge and any witnesses you might bring to supply support or sworn testimony. carlie

CC, That is really me in the avatar picture that is on all of my posts, I'm on the left hand side. It is the responsibility of the BVA to provide a copy of Hearing transcripts at no charge when they are requested. I was only backing up my request by also notifying the RO. carlie
