*Bergie*
I think something needs to be done here!! Check this out: http://www.military.com/news/article/troub...mp;ESRC=army.nl I know of a woman who's husband was killed in action, her children born here. She receives survivor benefits, but was being deported because her sponsor was no longer living. Her children were allowed to stay but not her. Last I heard she was being represented by an attorney and her local Congressman. I don't disagree with criminals being deported, but this is rediculous. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted June 2, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 2, 2010 It comes up time and again and the Congress must do something about it.
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted June 2, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 2, 2010 This is the same sort of hysteria that is happening in Arizona. Illegals did not cause the financial meltdown. Red blooded American capitalists caused it. Illegals did not destroy the Gulf of Mexico.
HadIt.com Elder Commander Bob Posted June 3, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 3, 2010 The feel of a cold shoulder. Immigration reform is needed ASAP. It's shameful..
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted June 3, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 3, 2010 If you get convicted of a felony and have to do time you lose your compensation while you are inside the walls. That means the vet's wife and kids lose as well. Then if the vet is not a citizen he gets deported and his wife and kid stay here living on what? Welfare I guess so we end up paying anyway. My cousin from Ireland was drafted while he was not a citizen. He became a citizen when he got out of the army. At least they did that for him after using him.
