  3. Well its been while since was here. Good and bad news: Good; I got 10% for my tinnitus. The backpay will equate to around $7,392. I hired a civilian attorney and within 3 months my appeal was in front of the BVA IN DC!!! The bad; It wont get to me for another week. Im now completely out of food. Im eating some of the ferret food I have here. I have tried the VA, Salvation Army, among others. I got to within a hairs width a couple of days ago of committing suicide. But as you can see, Im here....
  4. Im going to fight this till my dying breath about were I was stationed at and other bases that ARE contaminated and the feds dont have the b*&^s to tell us the truth!!! This is TOTAL BS!!!
  5. Got my jump wings right after basic. Got my Air Assault wings in Hawaii. Airborne and Air Assault can AND is awarded to any and all who go to the schools. Male/female, Officer, enlisted. And ANY branch of service. Its NOT limited to 11 AA Division (TEST). That includes pencil pushers. Heres is the FB page for the AA school in Hawaii: https://www.facebook.com/LAAAClass0314 And a little about myself: https://army.togetherweserved.com/army/servlet/tws.webapp.WebApp?cmd=ShadowBoxProfile&type=Person&setting=true&ID=26527
  6. john999 Posted 19 November 2010 - 10:58 AM You have a DX of PTSD from the VA, right? I agree with what Carlie said about getting a doctor to review all your records and connnecting all the dots. This is the only way you can do it after all this time I think. Have you been in trouble with the law since you got out of service? YES If you have record of trouble in service and trouble with law after service the VA C&P doctors will say you are a PD. This is what you have to rebutt. I have both,.but the VA just keeps looking the other way.
  7. This is old, but I feel that i owe this thread an update. Im doing OK. Im with my daughter , her hubby and a couple of friends in a house. Going to school also.
  8. COmes to find out, the VA in there finite wisdom...LOL.... didnt schedule me the exams they should have. So Im going to go for it again. What a mess!! Also, should I just get a regular attorney for this???
  9. I have been gone for soooo long!!! I am still at 10% :( Got denied left and right. dont know what to do now.... Im going to the VA hospital for some meds. So Ill see whats up, maybe......
  10. This is breaking news!!!! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43994382/ns/health-health_care/#.Tjjeq4I0_0d "A medication commonly used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder in combat veterans may not be effective in reducing overall PTSD severity, a new study shows."
