Sensitive Level 7

For wanting to seek info about my claims, I deceided to call the infamous call center(remember they did fax me info of my granted HTN claim, prior to receiving it 3 days post mail) anyway they repeat all my info given and explain Sorry we cannot release any info to you. WHAT??

You are level 7 sensitive and due to your security rating release of any information is forbidden. So they tell me someone will return a call, yeah right, but 15 minutes later phone rings and it is the call center asking about my security clearance, blah, blah, blah. So anyone else get this response?

What area of the federal government do you work for? WHAT? Yes you have all my info right except why was I given a sensitive level 7? Are you a supervisor? No. Not employed at all for years. Well you have this security level on your claim now...We refer to it here as VIP!

Is it good, bad, or ugly? Why/Who put it there? For what purpose?

Don't know just that it is there and they are working on all your claims now!

OK people here tell me what happens next??

Also if you have a case going to the CAVC you're tagged w/a level 7. Actually it's better cuz then you'll probably get less errors.

Level 8 sensitive on my file, and the only result is I cant use the 800 number and I have to wait an hour to speak to anyone when I go to the VARO. If this is how the VA treats its VIP's, I would hate to see how they treat their enemies.

I hate to tell you this, BUT, "Level 8" IS how they treat their enemies!

"Level 7", however, is how they treat their FRIENDS!

I forget the exact quote, but I read somewhere a Native American tribe proverb states you measure a mans power by how many enemies he has. If the VA is my enemy, I am truly blessed!
