gp747
Berta i am sc bipolar, however on my award the c&p listed ptsd also ,but was not approved because of the stressor deal. I was a truck driver in nam and did see a lot of hell. Should i try to get sc because i have already been diagnosed with it and it is on my award. Berta
Skumk =they will only make one award of a mental disorder. However the SC bipolar could be aggravating the PTSD. Have you requested a higher rating for the bi polar? Does your evidence match a higher rating category for it? What is your SC rating now and are you still employed? Have you read the Q & A thng I posted from the VA web site? Without a pending PTSD claim that fits intop the Q & A criteria - I dont see how the new regs will help you. Berta
How does the PTSD part of the award read? The VA might have well considered it as secondary to or part of the Bi Polar. Do you get SSA disbility? Have you applied for TDIU yet?

I will kind of wait and see what happens with all this ,but seems to me they should have to go back and all the claims that were approved by c&p examiner, but not at varo should bve revisited.
