HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted July 22, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 22, 2010 Huh? "It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." Chief Joseph
HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted July 22, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 22, 2010 I think there are more being approved. I've been helping one of the guys from my platoon (1965-66) for about 3 yrs and they just gave him 100%, w/P&T, for PTSD, last week. Yes, I believe I'm seeing more successes. just sayin . . . ;-) pr
Guest terrysturgis
Maybe more claims are being granted cause we all have been learning the rules of engagement and there fore we are making it easier for the raters to make better decisions. Thanks Philip for helping your friend! Terry
stillhere
I think it is a little bit of everything that is involved in the process. We Vietnam vets are getting into our 60's and our disabilities are taking their toll. There are more presumptive too! Time is a killer and a lot of vets that were covered are dieing and the DIC claims are coming out of the wood work. The VA is in a PR phase where we have 2 wars going on and they really need to show these kids that are going and fighting fir their country that they will be taken care of should something happen to them. I like it and glad to see any vet get his/her deserved benefits!
