HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted September 7, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 7, 2010 Not really sure but you could fly home, for the exam, if need be, or ask them to do the exam thru the state dept. I would think the latter could cause you further delay. jmo pr
HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted September 7, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 7, 2010 The VA actually requires overseas Veterans to use Houston as their VARO. Its a pretty good chance depending on the country that they can work through the American Embassy. You should let them know as soon as you can your exact circumstances or just come back for C&P. You have options.
carlie
For sure I would fly back to the US for a BVA Hearing and any exams requested. I hope your getting any and all of your VA mail, especially if it's to notify you for something like this. If you miss any C&P appointment you can pretty much look forward to a denial in most cases.
