Decision Letter

Question

Hello,

I called the 800 # on the status of my claim, they told me there was a decision. My question is does anyone know how long it might take from the decision date to hear any more information? Thanks!! Airborne all the way

The time line does vary. It has to go to 2 more stages after this. After a decision is made it has to be reviewed, then a letter will be sent out. FOr me in AZ once a decision was made-it took one week before I received a letter. Now I am waiting for my retro.. Just be patient a little bit longer. Good luck!

Could be days, could be weeks, could be remanded back down to a rater after review for more information or C&Ps, too.

Remand is not a VARO term unless it comes from the CAVC,BVA or AMC.

The rater could make a decision to have some additional development done.

Thank God, I received my decision letter today!! Mostly all good news..got increase on my back and 2 other sc injuries also I received during jumps in service. I filed in Nov 2009. So thankful!! This website has been a blessing also the Vet who convinced me to pursue my injuries. currently 50% God Bless!!
