Cm Burns Posted September 27, 2010 Author Share Posted September 27, 2010 veterans compensation adjustment act of 2010 basicaly on the 22nd it passe i did find that here online. now according to what was passed out at the va it says that compensation is being changed that 100% would go from 2673 to 4646 I am google-ing to get more info... I did find this site about it http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1513 now the senate passed it on Sept 22nd and it is suppose to go in effect on NOv 30th.. I dont know if that is with the siggy of the president or not. I am trying to research it here online. Anyone that has more info please chime in. Was it being passed out in certain clinics or waiting areas? I have an appointment this week at the VAMC, so I will be on the lookout for it. Did the paper you receive look like the ones attached to the initial posts within these topics shown below? These have caused a bit of uproar recently because what is shown in HR4667 (http://www.govtrack....?bill=h111-4667) doesn't match what was on the posted scanned documents. Basically, HR4667 ties VA COLA increases to Social Security increases. From what we have seen in the news, the CPI has not risen and it looks like there will be no increase again. We have yet to confirm the source which is distributing the info about the near-doubling of VA disability monthly payments, which is shown in the other two topics..
