IraqVet
What kind of rating can I expect after waiting 6 yrs and fighting the VA for my PTSD. I was also told that I would have an answer in about 30 days, is this true? Attached is the report.
Berta
As long as if the VA can verify the stressor (unless you have CIB or CAR on your DD 214)....and maybe if they do not even have to verify the stressor and find it consistent with your MOS (per the new PTSD regulations) and as long as you have filed a TDIU form- I feel this would warrant a TDIU award. However- they could use the SSA records and award you 100% for SC PTSD. If the SSA award you get is solely for PTSD (I assumed it is from the attachments but couldn't read them all)this should warrant compensation at the 100% rate whether TDIU or regular SC percentage of 100%.In my opinion. Do you have a vet rep? Did they suggest filing the TDIU form already?
