Ihd...blue Water Vets...please Help...

I don't see the words Boots or Ground in this document anywhere while using the search engine. Is the VA once more, just being obscure, or are Blue-Water VETS included in presumption for Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD). My Buddy has 10 heart stints and IHD, but the VA tells him he has to have "boots on the ground".

There has and probably will not ever be a change for the "boots on ground " lingo unless congress passes something that changes it.

If the major VSO's would really campaign for blue water vets it could happen. I think they are throwing those vets to the dogs in favor of younger generation.

Some Blue Waters served on "brown" water vessels.

The first Blue Water I helped here at hadit maybe 10 years ago-proved he was also Brown Water too- and had forgotten an incident aboard a Brown water vessel requiring him to step into the shore of the Vietnam river tributary they were in.

He was able to prove the incident and awarded for his AO disabilities.
