cooter
Can anybody tell me if abnormal gait can effect the neck and entire back or is it isolated just in the Lumbar area?
carlie
My Pain Management Dr has me taking Morphine and Percocets daily. cooter, This is a bit off topic but keep in mind that Morphine and Perc's are a great recipe for stopping up bowel movements, so if you should encounter this, mention it to your doc. Also, the VAMC's are notorious for being generous with the perc's and then one day low and behold you get a new doctor in the clinic that suddenly decides you don't need those perc's and whoosh - they are gone and the vet is left hanging in pain again. Tooche on that one carlie!!! I'm taking otc Bisacodyl and perscribed Generlac for a supplement. It works only if I induce the movement myself. Which SUCKS!!! As of now I'm getting my meds via private Dr. but I guess there could be a day when that could happen too!
rpowell01
I want to mention that Lumbar issues will also cause a abnormal gait which the C & P Examiner noted on examination I had last year....Hope this helps.
