Question

Question: Original claim dated 7-16-10. During development phase, TDIU submitted (VARO received 1-13-11). If approved, will the TDIU date back to the original claim date of 7-16-10, seeing it was part of the original development, or the date when they received it 1-13-11?

The VA can decide to grant or not grant TDIU and use any effective date they want. In you case I think it should go back to when you filed your original claim

The VA would probably use 1/13/11, the date received or the date you signed the TDIU claim. They may use 7/16/10 but I feel it's highly unlikely.
