I first sign up with the VA in Feb1990 for Schizoprenic/PTSD my question is how far back will the VA go in paying back back pay they gave me 30% for my feet i was a Partrooper in the Army

These guys are correct-my answer was not clear.

If you continuously prosecuted a claim since 1990 and they awarded it now the retro would be back to 1990.

Twenty one years is a little unusual to have a claim go on that long.How many times did it go to the BVA and possibly to the CAVC?

I wouldn't have my hopes up too much yet.

Until you receive a Rating Decision and a check or

direct deposit - it ain't a done deal.

My advise is worry about the grant and than worry about back pay.
