Where in your package did it say you where P&T, i got a Chapter 35 pamplet with mine but i am not reading anywhere it says i am P&T.....

Hey Bradley. On the back of the 1st.page (cover page) it says No examination will be scheduled in the future for your permanent and total disability. Seems like I read some where that if your disability has lasted over 20yrs its considered permanent. I don't remember where I read that though. I was already on SSDI before I filed a VA Claim. I got out of the Army 27yrs ago. One of my doctors worked as a C&P in the past and told me to file a claim. I didn't think I could. If it wasn't for her I would have never known.

Congrats on your P & T .

I am in the middle of doing the same things as you being recently awarded. One thing that did help was to go to the VARO and be issured a new rating letter with the raised seal on it.

Thats what the military installation wanted for my ID card.

Good Luck!
