I was told my case had a decision made and that it had already ben checked for accuracy and that I will be expecting the notification of the descion by mail soon! Well it was at the Columbia (SC) office and it was in the descion phase there for over 200 days! About two weeks ago during my daily phone call to the 1-800 number I was informed my claim was sent to the Louisville office because their claims turn over faster. My heart dropped thinking I was going to wait another 200 days like before but today as said previously I was told it was finished and had already been checked over! They said.to expect mail soon! So yes, i'm thrilled! (200+ days Columbia, 14 days Louisville!) About a month ago I was told over the phone that the VA has new "expected wait time" per day per city. I was informed the Columbia office was 96 on average for the descion phase and when it was sent to Louisville was informed their wait was 12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you have direct deposit set up, I'd check it about every 3 days as sometimes compensation hits the account prior to receipt of your official rating decision.
