HadIt.com Elder Testvet Posted December 1, 2011 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 1, 2011 Carlie it could not happen to a more deserving veteran, the 6 year fight is ridiculous wow with that much back pay you can afford a nicer house let alone a car do something that will be great for you a cruise or some other nice wild dream vacation you have earned it but you will be expected to be back to work here and helping others get their win as you have been doing for the past years you are one of the great minds here at Hadit 100% SC P&T PTSD 100% CAD 10% Hypertension and A&A = SMC L, SSD a disabled American veteran certified lol "A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step." Berta
I agree- a great Mind in action and this is well deserved by you Carlie. I get thrilled when I see awards that are finally correct but I never forget these 'awards' stem from disability due to service. So basically what you men and women get from the VA is basically what you paid for already by your sacrifice. I know a few civilians who cannot comprehend that point.I just say piss on them. They probably would not have lasted a single day in the Mil anyhow. Enjoy Carlie!!!!!! and Relax!!!!!! GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
carlie
Thanks to all. Testvet - we are leaving soon for a 7 day trip and then on Dec 31 we go on a 5 night cruise to celebrate good tiding and break in the new year with all the festivities and some great R&R. The ship will still be all gussied up with holiday decorations etc. . . I'm sure that many on the ship will be in formal attire for the big event but I will certainly be wearing my brand new long shorts and brand new t-shirt, oh heck - - it will be new years eve - maybe I'll dress up and wear a button down shirt, with my brand new shorts . . . . : -) Carlie passed away in November 2015 she is missed.
