More Than A Little Confused!

Question

The background: I am 20% on my back and I put in for an increase in May of 08. It was denied in Jan 09 and I appealed. It took until Nov 10 for the BVA to get it. Anyway I got a decision letter a few days ago and it said they remanded it, they wanted some more tests done on my back. Ok, now I received a letter saying that they received my claim and they are working on it. But there is nothing on the letter telling me where it is now? Can anyone give tell me where it is? Did they send it back to Michigan for them to get more evidence? I am so confused!

Thanks

(I AM NOT A RATER- I work the claims BEFORE they are rated, annotating medical evidence in your records, VA and Legal documents,  and DA/DD forms- basically a paralegal/vso/etc except that I also evaluate your records based on Caluza and try to justify and schedule the exams that you go to based on whether or not your records have enough in them to warrant those)

I would think it is at your regional office awaiting someone to work on it and to set up C&P exams for your remanded issues. Expect C&P letters as the next correspondence, but you never know the timeframe with the VA.

We kept our promise and served honorably. Now it is time for the VA to keep their's!

I am not an attorney or VSO and offer my opinions free of charge. Any advice I provide in my posts is from experiences I have had with the VA or I have the knowledge that others have encoutered. I accept no liability for this advice should you chose to follow it.

That's kinda what I was thinking....I have already had a C&P, they requested an orthopedic work up.....So I guess I have to wait some more!

Just curious Rdnkjeeper,

They route you Yoopers through Detroit or Milwaukee eah? Is Iron Mountain's VAMC worth anything but greif? Considering moving up that way in a couple of years once the sprouts are grown!

Best regards,

They would send it back to your VARO for them to get more evidence or testing. You need to get help from your PCP. The VA will probably just send you for another C&P exam. You have to fight to get more testing.
