The VAMC's and the VBA (VARO) side are different agencies / departments.

You need to tell them where and when there is evidence.

Your medical records from VAMC's and VA Out Patient Clinics do not just automatically become a

part of your claims file.

If you know the medical places, you might want to just write them a Request for all your medical records. THUS you get copies of them and then can make copies of them and turn into your VSO or VA, whichever. Then you don't have to worry about remembering dates. They should all be there.

If the facilities are close to your home, you can walk in and request them then and there. They can usually print them out while you wait. If you haven't requested them before, then it probably won't cost anything.

You can get your own medical records at your VAMC (s) (a good idea). Then you can give them the dates. Or, like already said, just sign one for Release of information for VAMC, Atlanta, another for VAMC San Diego, another for VAMC in grand junction.
