Loss Of Reproductive Organ

Question

I was diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer in 2004. So how I wasn't notified that the VA would cover this condition and because m wife and I thought it prudent I had my prostate removed and very luckily was able to make it through the 5 years with a PSA of 0.00. In 2009 I developed diabetes and did contact the VA, and am currently at 80% disability. So here is my question. I submitted a claim for "loss of reproductive organ" for loss of my prostrate. I also have a stipend for ED. Do any of you now anything about this, will the VA honer this, or is this just reaching too far.

This is kinda weird. I filed for AO as part of my claim. Over the years I've had problems peeing. Mostly they just put in a catheter, fed me antibiotics and all was well. Fast forward to 2006. It got really bad. My Urologist determined that I had this huge tumor on my prostate that was blocking my uniary tract. They did a biopsy and it was benign, but it had to be removed. They did an open prostotectomy which leaves the prostate in there. My doctor said it had been growing there for 20+ years. Of coarse I have ED, and my question is could that tumor have been the result of AO? They seem to only recognize cancer as claimable.

I'm still in gathering dust going on 16 months. I guess we'll see..............

Keep up the good fight!
