Question

Got the queen sized sleep number today. Looks small compared to my old king size. It is adjustable on each side but both sides go up or down, not by theirself. Also got the new desktop yesterday to replace this old one. Don't have it hooked up yet-----Just not ready to tackle it in this frame of mind yet.

I got a tempurpedic adjustable bed that had an invoice price of 6800. I would have never paid that much. I am sleeping much better. I also got my bathtub removed a a shower with a seat bench.

If you want something its best to ask whoever Voc Rehab sends out to evaluate you. I also asked for a new a/c mine is 1996 but did not get it. I may ask again as I understand that Voc Rehab has a limit that is much higher than what I have gotten.

My shower was paid for by a HISA Grant using one of their approved contractors and except for the laurel and hardy experience they did a good job.

You don't necessarily have to be 100% to get Voc Rehab ILP but you can't be a candidate for rehab either.

I can say that if anybody here has back and neck issues like I do and cannot afford this type of bed then go get 1. Serta memory foam mattress or 2. Go to Walmart and get a 4 inch memory foam mattress cover. I have found these to help me and I can tell in the mornings whenever I wake up.

Also, I have did some research and found out that these "pillow-top" mattresses are the worst thing for a person's back and neck.

Update....Wife didn't like the sleep number, so my counciler got it returned and we got the serta memory foam, wife satisfied and it is more comfortable. Also contractor coming tomorrow to install two new metal garage doors with opener. Old one's were wood and they just got to heavy to lift with my back problems..Still waiting on approval for the walk in shower. got my bids in finally after getting extension of time limit by prothestics. Lot of contractors never showed up at appoint time and never heard from them again.

Good luck I got a bed and the walk in shower. The shower has been a life saver.
