chinavet
Spoke to 3 vets this week. They all applied for IU but were rated 100% scheduler but not P&T. I was one Of them. A couple of questions: Is this a trend to dodge chapter 35 benefits? How hard is P&T after this? Every report by VA docs over the years shows My condition worsening. The C&Ps where they dredge Up all the worst stuff are brutal. I'm grateful for the rating. Tired and demoralized That things are not over.
HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted October 11, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) You should be able to get P&T by just asking for it. You've had your disorder(s) long enough, w/o improvement and you're over 55yo. pr Edited October 12, 2012 by Philip Rogers

HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted October 12, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 12, 2012 When you get a rating of TDIU or 100% the VA either grants chapter 35 benefits (P&T) or they don't. You can appeal that denial via the NOD route. You want to include some evidence that your condition is static.
chinavet
Change #999 but a good change! The final sign off authority sent it back to the VARO rater. They awarded P&T. I couldn't be happier. Unless of course I was we'll... Thank you Hadit!
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted October 22, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 22, 2012 Stay in treatment at the VA so they can't suddenly decide you need a C&P 20 years from now. Even if you just show up once every three months and throw the meds away try and stay in the VA loop. This is what I believe. Some don't feel that way. I would also throw in a few complaints when I go for psychiatric visits. The VA is supposed to consider you for housebound. Did they mention housebound? jfrei

Your rating decision that granted 100 percent should have some narrative in it addressing P&T or scheduling of future exams. Read it over again thoroughly and scan in exactly what it states on

There's been debates about this working and getting IU. SOME SAY ITS OK TO WORK KEEPING THE INCOME DOWN BELOW POVERTY LEVEL. I disagree with that anytime a veteran gets an IU award its beca
