Question

I contacted his rep, they want to help but I'm worried I won't get a fair evaluation.

S.O. says it just makes raters mad, a trusted friend says it doesn't work that way..advice?!

I had great luck with a claim over 3 years old. Within a month, I had my rating. I think it all depends on what area you live in and who your Congressman/woman is.

If you are related to the congressman it helps, or a big contributor to his/her campaign. Otherwise, you are Joe Blow.

My opinion is you are better off with a lawyer than a Congress Critter.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

I am done. Nightmares increasing again, getting to where I'm checking over my shoulders when I go out, bill collectors driving me crazy, 70% barely pays bills, over drafting to make ends meet, haven't seen therapist since May, no appointments available before September, no female therapist available at VetCenter right now. I've done everything I can. Sick of VA, politicians and everyone else lying about help being available. This is enough to make a person breakdown. I don't have any family here. Even if they could get me in to therapist, I don't even have bus fare! Lord, I didn't make it to 52 years old to fall down now!
