Question

I don't rember but i guess i told the doc i had it in high school. They denied me on my claim, i'll atach decisionpost-13879-0-08187800-1375243850_thumb.j

I think this is complete bs also, since all mental conditions effect each other. I would do really good at work then have break downs and go to the mental health.

I know, and i really don't remember telling this doctor that i had it in high school. On one of my medical reports it said i thought i had it. i do not talk with my family and i really don't remember this or every taking the medication. i know its going to be a hard road but we will see.

Another thing is, i don't remember this but its in the record i just was falling apart at work and my mom told me when i was younger I had add and recieved medication and it hrelped me in school. It does not state this in my medical record and I do not remember any of this.

One mtre thing is my mother suffers from several mental condition and is competly out of it. i have no docotors report or anything to bakc this up. Hell, my mom who i hardly talk to doesnt remember even telling eme this but she is so out of it now.

I guess i'll talk with dav and vso and see what is the best action to take.

since you appear to have already admitted having it in high school, you might try and show how your military service aggravated the existing condition. Your comments about your mothers mental condition do not exactly back up your case that you were in good health, then or now. They will more than likely use your statements about your mother to show hereditary linkage and continue to deny SC, but then it seems that you know this,no one here can tell you a way to defraud the VA and hopefully no one would.

Well did you have it since high school or not? You don't remember if you took medication for ADD in high school?

I don't mean to sound harsh but from reading this and your other posts it seems like you had issues prior to your service and are trying to find a way to get VA compensation regardless if service did or did not cause these issues.

If the military aggravated any condition you can get compensated. Maybe you had ADD and you still got PTSD on top of the ADD from military experience.

I saw a guidance counselor before the military, but in no way did I consider myself mentally ill. They just wrote in their notebooks and got me through high school. These childhood DX'es are a lot of bull. Teenagers act crazy for all sorts of reasons. I wanted attention and care and got abuse and neglect, so I enlisted in the loving arms of the US Army and got sent to Vietnam. Maybe I was predisposed to emotional problems, but I did my service in the combat zone and will probably die from AO to prove it. You know during WW 1 the British had 65,000 cases of shell shock after the war, and probably a couple of 100,000 that cracked up, but went back to the trenches and got KIA. If you told your CO you could not stand it any more you got put against a wall and shot.

ok, i served 10 years XXXXX i'm not going to say it, I had several break downs during this time. I am not trying to defraud anyone, I am reading a medical report from 2002 and it says i told the doc that i took med for add in high school. I do not remember this believe it or not. hell, i have about 4 different times where i went to medical over the years because i started shutting down at work. I don't remember telling the doc half the junk in there either.

i went through alot of hell, in the military being shot at is one of them, so before you start calling someone a fraud.. maybe think that you don't know half of the shit this man has been through.
