Monthly Spousal Support

Question

I have been designated a service connected disability rating of 40%, and need help completing VA Form 21-686c - specifically Question 13 'How much do you contribute monthly to your spouse's support?'

Do I enter '100%' as she is disabled with CA lung, airway disease, essential tremor & Parkinsons, and bipolar disorder - so she takes up to 15 meds.

Or do I need to enter the average monthly energy bill, grocery bill, her medications etc to get to a $ figure?

Many thanks - I appreciate all the help I can get.

If you live with your spouse, you can skip that question.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
