Ebenefits Has Me Confused

Question

Ok, so I had some movement on my claim a few days ago. However, I am very confused!

Under

What Do We Still Need From Others?
This is a list of all items that have been requested from 3rd parties.
It says:
VAMC MARTINEZ Date Requested: 04/04/2014 Due Date: 05/04/2014

I did not list that VAMC on my application as having any data related to the claim.
Would it show up like this if they were requesting a C&P exam?
I have looked under the "Exam Appointments Calendar" and there is nothing scheduled yet.

Has anyone had this? If so, what were they requesting?

Most likely a C&P is in your future.

The Earth is degenerating these days. Bribery and corruption abound.Children no longer mind their parents, every man wants to write a book, and it is evident that the end of the world is fast approaching. --17 different possible sources, all lacking verifiable attribution.

(I AM NOT A RATER- I work the claims BEFORE they are rated, annotating medical evidence in your records, VA and Legal documents,  and DA/DD forms- basically a paralegal/vso/etc except that I also evaluate your records based on Caluza and try to justify and schedule the exams that you go to based on whether or not your records have enough in them to warrant those)

I wasn't expecting exams til this summer, so I'm surprised at this development. (Filed nearly 7 months ago for 2 issues.)

Are C & Ps not done through QTC anymore? I haven't had one done since 2009 and it was for a PTSD increase after the some new regs, I guess. I have an appointment with the same criteria as the OP and I just assumed it was a follow up for regular check up/in. Oh well, if by chance it is going to be a C&P then I guess I better tell the wife. She's better at these than I am. Thanks

NavyWIfe,

They are requesting the C&Ps. I was in the same boat back in Jan. The Waco RO requested Dallas VA fill out DBQs for all my conditions, as all my Specialist are there. What happened the next month I had C&Ps at Fort Worth. No worries, he will have his exams probably in the next month. Once I saw this on Eben in Jan, then in Feb I had my exams. I have been at Gathering of Evidence every since. Boy we have been at this a while, hugh? I spoke to DC and Waco and they both informed me that Waco is averaging 10-14 months on FDCs. Good Luck and keep us posted.
