Clothing Allowance

I am posting this question for a friend of mine. She was awarded 0% SC for her skin and she was wondering if she if qualified for a clothing allowance. She does receive a prescription from the VA for this condition. If so when does she submit her request and when does it pay. Her Total service connection for all conditions is 60%. Thank You!

If she can prove it stains or causes damage to her clothes she should file NOW......those payments start in August.

She has to file before August 1. If the medication she is prescribed causes stains to clothing, yes she can receive payment.
