Has anyone ever heard of NOT receiving any dependent's allowance for 4.5 years, and spending most of that time talking with the VA trying to get this problem solved? I've been talking with the VA about this for years now - they say they see my dependents on my file. But ALWAYS they tell me that my case is processing. I have sent a letter to my congressman in CA; that was a couple months ago. I've asked the office if they've managed to get any further with my case, but no reply. They were very talkative and helpful in the beginning, but now pretty silent. Has anyone heard of something like this happening before? Thanks for any feedback.
