carlie
How can I, as a Veterans Service Representative? Request the VA to allow a Veterans son to be the Fiduciary of the Veterans benefits. If the Veteran has been deemed incompetent? If you have the POA just request ________ (veterans son) be named as fiduciary. You might want to include some financial proof that the son is of legal age, financially competent to handle regular bills, is an upstanding citizen and not a felon. Just look thru the regs for fiduciary and supply what is needed. jmho Carlie passed away in November 2015 she is missed.
Mikemmlj
If the son is competent I would think they'd be ok with it. It says they prefer relatives to be fiduciaries on the VA website.
