Question

We currently have a foster child placed with our family. and in 6 months she will be adopted by us. My question is can I add her as a child on my VA disability "Im 70%" for the first six months while she is still a foster child living with us, or do I have to wait until she is formally adopted in 6 months?

Yes, I too believe you must wait until she is officially adopted.

That's so nice- an addition to your family!

Check on your veterans Benefits offered by your state regarding college tuition. I know in California any child including adopted children are eligible for a complete waiver of college tuition at all the major state schools.
