I thought the H VAC claimed the FBI was already involved. I contacted the FBI Phoenix office months ago and they referred me to FBI in DC.

I recently sent them some info , but am concerned about something else .

I FOIAed the FBI about 2 months ago asking what VAMCs were being investigated or on a list to be investigated (I had heard about 100 were) due to the Phoenix situation,

and I also asked under FOIA info regarding if 2 specific VAMCs were on the list to be investigated.

(A local VAMC employee told me they had already been to one of them.....But I don't think that was the case at all)

The FBI FOIA officer replied that his data base had no information at all on what I asked for.

Since then I have had other correspondence with him to direct me to who is handling the actual VA FBI investigation.

I have no doubt they are investigating Phoenix:

But let's face it, the VA is an enormous screwed up multi-layered entity and how would the FBI even know what to look for and where to look?

it will probably take the new Sec at least a year to understand VA 101 .

I wrote to the FBI to tell them what to look for and where to look.
