Back C&p Exam Today

Rate this question

Question

So i had a c&p exam today. It was for a 5 year review to see if my back condition has improved or worstened. My back has been giving me tons of problems lately, where I had to go to the Emergency Department a few days ago because of the bad spasming and barely being able to walk. Upon my visit at the ED, the doctor prescribed anti inflammatories and Vicodin, and also he prescribed me to use a walker. I usually walk with a cane, but with the back issues i've been having leg weakness.

*She stated she would copy the ED report to be viewed with my file

So i arrive at the c&p exam, and I had a physician assistant, that I've had before a long time ago for an exam. She was very direct, when it came time to do the different extensions and flexions, she wanted me to do them without the walker. Which was impossible, because i felt unsafe and that I could easily fall without the use of the walker. The physician assistant then says, "Well i'll have to right a note about your not being able to do the flexions without the use of the walker. She then sits me on the bed in the room and only did foot flexions on both of my foot.

My questions is, would this hurt me or help me in your opinion?? The condition obviously has gotten worst, as I use to use a cane, now i'm in a walker, and the pain is totally unbearable. Can an increase occur, if i'm unable to even perform the flexions or extensions?? I pray I dont get a decrease, but i doubt that with the problems i'm having.

Thanks for your help
