Disability Denied

Rate this question

Question

My Long Term Disability company denied my claim because my PTSD was a pre-existing condition. I'm 100% service connected VA. The denial states that a reasonable and prudent person would have sought treatment earlier than I did. I am seeing if a lawyer will take my appeal.

Sounds like your lawyer will have some fun with them.

Last time I checked, "reasonable and prudent" and "PTSD" had opposite definitions. I guess your LTD company has never heard of delayed onset PTSD either...

Good luck! I hope you give them a fight they regret...
