Question

Fellow Vets,

I think that I may be one of the youngest people on this forum.

Therefore if you need help with something and feel more comfortable with someone closer to your age just ASK!

Not saying that you other vets can't help of course you are invaluable.

I just remember when I was first getting PTSD treatment it was tough for me to go to the Vet center.

Sean

Thanks for throwing out a help line. That is what this is all about. Vets helping each other.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

I think it is attitude not age that is a barrier between vets. Being a RVN vet I did not like the attitude the WW2 vets had towards us. They looked down their noses at me when I went to try and get help through the VSO's.

Sean, I'm not sure what your offering, I'm a Somalia vet, but to be honest, all the Vietnam Vets at the Vet Center I attend are wonderful. I couldn't have found a better home unless they sent my whole platoon into the center with me.

I'm still working claims. Don't know what will come of them, but if something doesn't happen soon, i'll be divorced and living in a cardboard box.
