Question

Just woke up from a nightmare and had a cigarette. I've been trying to quit smoking but between nightmares, panic attacks, and general anxiety it seems impossible. Any one with PTSD had luck quitting?

I quit smoking but then picked up snuff tobacco. After 15 years of that I decided to quit that too. What I found was the withdraws exacerbate the effects of PTSD. It lasts for 3-4 days from what I remember and sleeping was the worst. But it can be done and it's worth doing.
