Question

I just received word that my 5 year old appeal had been moved to a decision phase. I am in school now through voc rehab and wonder if my rating increases would it change the way they view me at voc rehab?

ranger doc i totally see your point and agree hey im all about keeping benefits that we earned. im just concerned if we as veterans have the right to state that we cant work at all but want to go to school so that we can work. isnt that initself a self admitting way of saying we can work at a job if we like it?

jmo but i can totally see the rebuttal of ,,,, the vet is a 100% of lower extremities and nothing prevents him from typing or data entry like computer work. the only thing that he/she has against is the education and training. so, the training should be approve because the vet has a right to work. but then again the SS is clear on this point. they say any type of work at all. so , if a vet gets ss then apply for tdiu and its granted then the vet says he/she wants an education so they can work.hmm just not sure how legal that would be. maybe yes for va but how can they ever keep ss ?

I disagree, it means you want to work but, at present, you can't. Hopefully, upon completing their training, they'll be able to resume working. jmo
